The big bad bitch has had an upgrade! Civil Protection's finest crimefighting augs have made the cyberpunk cop bigger and beefier than ever. Miranda's 7'2 frame has been upgraded with new "workhorse" cybernetic limbs, giving her a prepared carry weight of 1000kg - and beefy metallic biceps and thighs! Not that she's let up on the rest of her training regimen, making sure her muscular form is only just able to squeeze into her Arbites armour.

Still, Miranda keeps her uniform in good shape... the suit's blue finish kept spick and span, her stunbaton, cuffs and sidearm arranged neatly along her belt, and the Civil Protection badge on her chest polished to a perfect shine. Even her hooves were polished. But the zebra herself is distinctly skuzzy - her mane styled to stand up into a Mohawk when off duty, there's usually a ciggy hanging out of her muzzle when she's not chewing on the inhaler for designer stim. Her cybernetics are all jailbroken, too - limiters removed to let her crush metal in a fist and kick through concrete walls, not to mention several illegal hacking and encryption breaking apps in her Mind-Machine Interface... as well as wifi access and a media player. The techs say its a "vulnerability" and "open to abuse", but as far as Miranda is concerned she's usually the one doing the abusing.

It's no secret that Miranda is one of Civil Protection's more brutal thugs, abusing her position to get her sadistic kicks and often sent to intimidate problem citizens into compliance - or when Headquarters wants an arrest made with extreme prejudice. Often g up for patrols on the bad side of towns and for shakedowns in slums, Miranda is never happier when she's swinging a stunstick into the back of a perp's skull.

So what if Miranda takes bribes and the occasional cut on the side from the local gangs? Headquarters doesn't give a damn, and it's not like she'll get the best augs and stims from the commissary anyway.



So! Here's Miranda, my cyborg zebra cop! She's actually one of my older characters, and this art is actually a couple of years old at this point... but with everything that's been happening in recent years I never ed it, seeing as cops have been leaving a bad taste in people's mouths, myself included. Maybe i'll transition her to being a merc one of these days.

In any case, Miranda was always intended to be a bad guy - she was always a bent cop, more of a thug than than a protector. She has s in the mob, and is more than happy to arrest and haul off people they want "disappeared" into the system. It helps that the leader of the gangsters has access to her augs via her jailbroken MMI and can fuck with her mind directly...
