The fifth in a series of pictures for 
Shadow3397 depicting the various troopers of the KH Military. Next up we have the KH scientist Liggaam in the field taking notes while the Covert Trooper Illethia stands beside him, apparently looking unimpressed at someone.
In general, the scientists of the KH Military spend most of their time in the labs and workshops of the various KH bases and facilities around the world. But Tesla, the chief scientist of the KH Military, feels that sometimes valuable data can only be collected in the field. Thus, scientists are fitted with stripped-down versions of KH trooper armor for protection, which has led to these scientists being informally called Science Troopers.
While most Covert Troopers are equipped with the same gear, some Covert Troopers forgo parts of their armor and rifles in favour of lighter outfits that give provide more agility and speed, while mastering the use of specially crafted melee weapons such as the energy poleaxe held here by Illethia. While scoffed at by many regular Coverts, these troopers have proven to be capable martial arts fighters and can perform missions where firearms are impractical.
