Illas has been thinking about his characters as Protogens, and I've been trying to crack that problem of skunk-drawing. And I also like robots and shiny creatures. So that's all come together nicely and you see one of the reasons I've been trying to do simple pictures and clear out time for me to do stuff like this. My great thanks to
Illas for letting me borrow Mustal and droid him up a bit. I stretched on my usual low-effort background by taking out the simulated marker and fiddling around and somehow creating a mountain range. Who knew? I'll have to do this again if I can what the heck I did.
I don't know that I actually got whatever makes something a 'Protogen' as opposed to a general screenface robot correct. If someone does know, please let me know.
My intention was for the shirt to be, like, cotton, or at least visibly fabric, since 'robots wearing regular clothes' is a style I like a lot. I couldn't figure a good way to suggest that texture, though.

https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Primagen So, here's some things about Protogens and Primagens. There's also 'Synths' about, which, https://synthspecies.com/ . Mostly the same thing, but open-source. Because 'closed species' with rules usually have their 5th person want to totally break those rules. See: Angel Dragons.

Oh, thank you; I don't know why but I didn't think to check Wikifur to see if it had any guidance, somehow. Just cast about for Protogen model sheets here and, mm, there's a lot of them but not offering advice on just what I had wondered.
