Sylvia Bridgette Marsden (née Ortiz) is a leucistic squirrel who was born in Lyon, on 3rd February 1990, making her 32 years old. She is a famous ballet prima and contortionist.

Sylvia is the oldest child in her generation of her family. Having been born as Sylvia Ortiz, she discovered ballet when she was about four years old. When she entered the ballet academy, she excelled in every ballet lesson from the stretches to the five basic positions and from the advanced maneuvers to the pointe techniques. She first performed in Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty at the age of five years old, performing flawlessly. Over the years, she would also discover contortion and become as flexible as Susan, Luna, Pixel and Mei Ling among a few others. She also pursued her ballet dreams and went up the ranks from danseuse to premiere danseuse, and then, on her eighteenth birthday, to an elite prima ballerina. Her current ballet costume consists of a pink tutu, white tights, cream ballet pointes and a platinum tiara with sapphires in it on her forehead. She would also teach a very young Alesya Fayanova in 2019, who, surprisingly, is an even faster learner than Sylvia. She also married Denny Marsden in 2009 and they now have two children - two girls called Carmen (born 2015) and Nala (born 2016).

Because she is leucistic, Sylvia has white fur, which, in real life, is quite rare for a squirrel.

Sylvia and Alesya are both squirrels. Sylvia is a leucistic squirrel while Alesya is a Eurasian red squirrel. Also, Sylvia has blonde hair while Alesya has fluff on her forehead which is the same colour as her fur.

Sylvia is as flexible as Luna, Pixel, Mei Ling, Aubrey, Miranda, Marie, Eniko, Tamara, Chisato and Poppy. Her toes are also as flexible as Mei Ling's.

Sylvia wears pink when doing ballet, black when wearing her swimsuit, and blue when doing contortion in her latex catsuit.

Sylvia is named after the title character of the namesake ballet composed by Léo Delibes.
