But if she was a skater boy and not a skater man, wouldn't that mean she could have jumped the gap without breaking the whole "no man has ever done this" rule? I think she should hire an attorney.

This poses an interesting question. Would they just bring the entire courtroom to the gap, or would they move the concept of there being nothing in between two elevated points to the courtroom?
