Author's note - I do apologize for the lack of spacing, I'm not sure why it ed like this. This textual analysis essay was written (as a final) for my college Composition II class focusing on the American Identity, where I chose to write about Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven and The Black Cat, examining his adverse views against the rising popularity of American household domesticity as a means of utilitarianism - also arguing that Poe wasn't a misanthrope as commonly believed, actually being a great partisan of America. Unedited from its original submitted state for documentation purposes, I will share my professor's thoughts once I receive a grade. I hope you all enjoy, thanks for reading! Thoughts and favorites are welcomed, along with watches if you like what you see. ^.=.^
Update - I got 150/150, meaning an A+! The highest I've ever gotten for a paper, wow!
