Topaze is a bog beast, a little known heraldic chimeric species. She has a very curled mane, a rare case for her species. Her bug wings are not mean for flying but rather for refreshing. She likes shopping, makeup and make other happy.
It was the first time that I draw a body in profile. It wasn't easy but I think the final result is good. The most complicated part was the hand/hoof, because while heraldic bog beasts have feline-like digitigrade hind legs, they have cloven-hoofed fore legs. I wanted to have a realistic dexterity without completely removing the hoof and have a very human hand and nails. So I went for the three big fingers hand with hoof looking like nails or claws for allowing her to use tactile digital devices like cellphones but still slightly shaped like a cloven hoof. Bog beasts also have a mouse-like tail.
