Today is my besty Maggie's birthday & I'm going to surprise her with this hand-crafted card featuring the mayor of Living Island, H. R. Pufnstuf as a gift. A couple of years ago, I got back into the Speed Racer Anime (my very first Anime) & showed an episode to her. In the spirit of sharing childhood shows, Maggie introduced the TV series H. R. Pufnstuf to me while we had coffee together. She says she re watching the puppets as young as 4 years old & it's precious to her.
I very much recommend this show to everyone whom likes puppets, fantasy, comedy & that good, old Hippie pop culture. You can easily find episodes of Pufnstuf on YouTube.
