It had been a very long time since Musaamik had slept so deeply, so peacefully. Despite her lack of familiarity with the maze of entwined branches and dense foliage, she had found the perfect spot for napping. Though upon waking instinct nudged her into the promised safety of a small nook that some branches had formed, Musaamik was in no particular hurry and settled on her haunches with wings outstretched. Arching her maned neck, the aalukris' long, pointed tongue was soon dragged along her velvety wing membranes in a very satisfying groom. Expression relaxed and softened by her sleep, Musaamik looked quite content indeed.This is the first commission I've ever had with the amazing
