As you can see Rainbow is in a lab strapped down to a table and is gassed by anesthesia as government scientists made sure that she is fully asleep while they are running tests on her and her geoid after she was captured to be examined after recent incidents with equestrian magic. As she peacfully breathed slowly and deeply in the oxygen and anesthesia gas mixture from the black mask on her face and the anesthetic machine behind her Dash was dreaming about her future and her friends. While in the material world scientist and doctors were still running tests and making sure she was still alive as she was just a civilian with magical powers.
