As they escape and flee from the forest, Euca and co. Found themselves walking in a very mediaeval town, they were amazed and enamoured by everything.

"Wow. This, feels like straight out of a fantasy novel" jinny commented

Cole chuckled "welcome to the city of axia, you folks haven't seen nothing yet"

They entered what seems to be a coffee shop, they sat down and ordered a drink,

"you folks aren't from around here, huh?" Cole quickly got to the point

"Yea, we aren't. I'm Euka, this is jinny corlisse, His name is Phillip tan, the guy who he is talking to is Owen lorelei, and this handsome guy is named Sissel" Euka introduced themselves as he took a sip from his coffee

Sissel got flustered and blushed from Euka's statement.

"Well nice to meetcha, im cole bonebreaker, she's artemi gautier, and this is my loyal and trustworthy partner sidd shrikewood" cole grinned.

"Gotta say, for a noble looking mage, you two are surprisingly nice." Cole said in mild surprised

"What do you mean?" Jinny asked, confused.

"Well, from what we have seen noble looking pansies like you always act sophisticated, looking down at others" Sidd grimaced

"Well that's just a load of bull" Euka frowned

"while that isn't an excellent word choice, I wholeheartedly agree sir Euka." Artemi nodded.

They were chatting and after they finished their food they exited the cafe.

Cole decided to take them to the guild, he was interested in their abilities and wanted to see more.

"Where are we going?" Owen asked

"We are going to the guild, I wanna see what you all can do" cole answered

They entered the guild, loads of people were drinking and lots of people were being really intimate, he told the group to stay there as he walked towards the stairs.

he walked upstairs expecting to find his dad, he checked every door and only found Hamish organizing and doing paperwork

"Hey Hamish, have you seen dad?" Cole asked.

"He was on a mission about 2 hours ago, he won't be here for another 3 hour" Hamish said, not even looking up from what he is doing

"Damn it." Cole grunted as he slammed the door

He walked downstairs and saw absolute chaos

Lots of chairs are toppled down and lots of people are knocked out, he saw Phillip holding a guy by his neck and is trying to punch him while Owen is trying to hold him back, Euka kept kicking a guy, while Sissel, Artemi and Jinny are on the sidelines looking shocked and dumbfounded.

He walked over to Artemi, Sissel, and Jinny.

"What happened while I was gone?" Cole asked in confusion and in concern

"Someone tried to pinch Sissel, and Phillip's butt" Jinny explained.

"And where is sidd?" Cole asked.

"He is under the table" Artemi said pointing to her left, sure enough sidd was under a table looking scared

It took them 10 minutes to grab the group out of there, and decided to go to sidd's home instead

"Sorry for what happened back there Cole" Owen apologised

Cole laughed "Hah! Don't be, it'll take way more than that to piss them off, and besides, bar fights always happen there."

Cole glanced at Phillip and smirked.

"But damn, for a little guy you sure are powerful." Cole praised phillip.

"Gee thanks" Phillip sarcastically says

"Yeah! That was really incredible Phillip" artemi also praised phillip

They arrived at sidd's door and were greeted by two birds, who welcomed sidd with open arms.

"Welcome home sidd, were you hurt? Were you scared? Who hurt you" his mother? Asked

"Moooooom" Sidd complained clearly embarrassed.

"Sidd, are these your parents?" Phillip asked

Sidd grinned "yeah! Meet my mom and dad."

He introduced the group to his parents, and the parents invited the group for dinner. Sissel was insistent on helping, and Sidd's mother couldn't refuse.

They chatted for a bit and Sidd's mother offered them a place to stay for the night and even offered to teach Euka and Jinny magic.

"HE DID WHAT!?" Mrs. shrikewood yelled looking shock and in utter outrage

They were talking about what happened to them, what happened in the past, Sissel discussed what happened with a certain teacher.

"That poor excuse of a- AND NO ONE EVEN DID ANYTHING!?" Mrs. shrikewood was fuming with rage

"W-well mrs. Corlisse actually defended me, and my friends were with me through thick and thin, without them I would've been already expelled" Sissel explained.

"Well I am glad that was over with." Mrs shrikewood calmed down

She was shocked, why wouldn't she be, these kids have been through so much.

She patted Phillip's head, he didn't do anything and just blushed.

Night came and they all went to bed.
