So on the 10th of January 2022, I attempted to create what an CD-I cutscene style version of Yoshi from the Super Mario franchise would look like, considering he never appeared in Hotel Mario.
For an more-era accurate look, I wanted Yoshi to look like how he did in media (this screenshot from DIC Entertainment's Super Mario World cartoon (more, so the intro) came in handy) before Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Story and 2000s-on era Mario games, complete with the red shoes, red spikes (with a fourth spike) and a saddle that looks like a saddle.

I guess Pacific Rim Animation (who animated all thirteen episodes of Super Mario World) chose to redesign Yoshi to look a little more closer to his SMW Game design when they started to animate Born to Ride, but the Canvas. Inc-animated intro did not change to accommodate the redesign.
