My bestie Zelendur and I have a big universe with our own OCs. There are 6 kingdoms, each with their own king or queen ("Atem"). All of them are in that position because they have special powers.
This is Samael, Maleks twin brother. While Malek is able to tend to the confused souls, Samael is able to tend to the lost souls. Those who have rotted to the core, never able to find peace or guidance. He can control the feared shadows roaming the land. And while Samael uses it for good to cleanse the cities of the dangers, people cannot help but to avoid talking about the dark brother.
