if I was guardsmen in the 40k universe this would be the most horrifying thing I would find. Not only do you find the signs of a Genestealer cult but Skaven is here too. the only good thing is that both clans are at war with each other but then whoever wins you will be a bigger issue Later.

Any imperial with enough gravitas to get that sort of aid probably wouldn't negotiate with a skaven.

Actually, factional infighting would be ideal for military intervention. Both sides weakened makes the job of the Guard easier
I bet my imperium credits will go to the skavin. having experience with dealing with them in vermintide I will be prepared to face them when they deal with that annoying cult.
