Danford struggled to get to sleep as he tossed and turned. Every night he'd close his eyes, he'd have the same nightmare of the incident that ended his mom's life.
"Mom..." the fox said as he was trying not to cry. "Everything is awful wwwwithout y-y-you here." He held his plush fox that he had gotten from his mom as a birthday gift when he was a kit, close to him.
Despite trying not to cry, the tears started flowing down his face. ("I shouldn't be crying. Mom would be disappointed if she were here and saw me crying like the crybaby everyone says I am.") Danford started to pull the blanket on his bed over him and he began to start sobbing. "Th-th-this isn't fair! It sh-sh-should've been me who died in th-th-the accident not y-y-you!" He yelled as he held his fox plush tight.

So, so sad. It's hard for him to let go of the tragic loss of his loving mother and that he has to cry in a fetal position and can't stop until he has to cry himself to sleep. And DON'T anyone tell him to let it go when he can't, or it will make the situation worse.
