What do you get when you merge a Maverick and Cybertronian with a beast mode?
The result is Spark Mandrill from Megaman X in the the form of Optimus Primal from Beast Wars, well, technically it's Kingdom Optimus Primal, but who cares at this point?
I was in the mood to do some Megaman characters as Transformers, I did around at least forty of them, and in a storyline that I came up with.
The Autobots and Decepticons were legends that the populace had largely ignored, save for some individuals who knew about the war.
The Mavericks would start the Great war between them and Repliforce, to which the latter would be almost gone and all that was left were the Maverick Hunters, a team that Repliforce assembled out of former Mavericks, veterans, and outsiders to stop the Mavericks.
But as the war went on, Cybertron was on the verge of dying, the Maverick Hunters escaped, knowing that the war had consumed the entire planet, and was slowly rotting away until there was nothing left, they knew one thing that was true, there were no winners or losers, only survivors.
The Maverick Hunters settled on a planet that ed life (it's not Earth, but close enough), and named the colony New Cybertron. There, they could begin again, but the newly reborn Decepticon empire would attack them as the violent cycle began once more.
A bittersweet ending if you ask me, but I had fun writing the bios for each of the characters I did as Transformers, I'm not sure if a sequel story would be done, but I would like to do that and see where it goes from there.
Still, I'm glad I made this digibash because I love how it turned out.
