The lead singer of the Ronette's ed away after a brief battle with cancer. Ronnie was best know as the big haired member of the Ronettes in the 60s. With songs like 'Be my baby', Baby, I love you, 'Best part of breakin' up, and 'Walking in the rain'. The Ronettes would be also be among the top bands with the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
Ronnie married her producer, Phil Spector in 1968, and divorced in 1972. Phil would later be accused of threatening Ronnie with being killed by a hit man. Phil would later be convicted for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson in 2003 and die in prison in 2021.
Ronnie would enjoy a resurgence in popularity in the early 2000s thanks to Eddie Money's 'Take me home tonight' singing "Just like Ronnie sang, Be my little baby!"
