me with Shinies!

Haven't been feeling good for a while, and I wanted to draw a comfort character to cheer me up, so here's Barney Bear! I was originally going to actually line it, but I just decided to roll with the sketch layer and use that instead. I am very proud of this piece! He looks so goofy,, here's the version without his clown makeup!

Circus Playhouse Band later got a reboot as Circus World Jamboree, and Barney was redesigned to wear a traditional drum major uniform:

I am aware of this, yes! I much prefer the original band and cast, however. It's nice that they tried to bring them back, but it just wasn't the same.

To each their own. The reboot left a better impression on me than the original, but that's just me.
