In the world of Pokemon, HM04 is for move Strength. Now I will tell you the difference between HMs and TMs. The term "HM" stands for Hidden Machine, prior to Generation VII, now for those do not know what VII is, it is the Roman number for 7. Strength can used in the field to move heavy boulders as well as in Pokemon battles. HMs can NOT BE FORGOTTEN NORMALLY, and they CAN NOT BE DISPOSED OF FOR ANY REASON. HMs can be used multiple times. HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO HAVE CERTAIN GYM BADGES TO USE HMs OUTSIDE OF Pokemon battles. Technical Machines or TMs for short, will teach a move to a Pokemon. One problem, unlike HMs which can be used multiple times, TMs are SINGLE USE ONLY. So, TMs can be both bought and sold and can be forgotten.
