Or you do what Edgar wants, or you're as good as crocodile chow, that's the philosophy of the captain of the "Dead King's Will": here, we can see how Edgar, needing a necromancer in his crew, to create valid undead underlings, went to find Shiro Deadend, a scrawny and coward tanuki expert in raising the dead from the other side. As Shiro refused at first to the pirate's crew, Edgar put the tanuki in a simple situation: ing the crew as a crew member, or ing it as crocodile chub... useless saying that the necromancer did chose the first option, knowing how Edgar would have eaten him without problems, if he refused.
