Well, folks, here it is, the completed 1k watcher piece. Congrats to 
starallon 
memos and 
tGabby for winning the prize and ing me and my lovely mate 
ValiaMoonseer in the delightful scene, courtesy of 
FellFallow who has, once again, knocked it out of the park with her work. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all of them for making this art piece possible but also to all my watchers who, for whatever reason, have chosen to drop by and stick around over these last seven years. Oh, did I mention, it was on Thanks Giving, seven years ago, that I created this and first got myself formally involved in the fandom. I'd lurked for a bit before then, but it wasn't until that Thanksgiving evening that I created my there. Also, that was the day I started work on my first (completed) novel, a story that would follow the exploits of Jarren as I imagined him and his world. Now, I still need to polish up that draft to make it publishable, but the story is done.... but Jarren's story and character have grown so much since that day and, honestly, it's hard to decide if he's even the same character I sat down to write that story about all those years ago. That isn't a bad thing. The story was/is, ittedly, a bit of otherkin wish fulfillment and I put a lot more of myself into the character at the time, and that bled into stuff here on FA as well and, thus, into the community I've ed here and my presence in it. All this time and all these people I've met through the fandom have done so much to change and mold aspects of my life and I am thankful for every one of you, whether or not we still talk, or are even still on good , on this (US) Thanksgiving day I am grateful for all of you and how you've had an effect on my life, even if it's just watching me or leaving a silly comment. You're all awesome. Stay that way.
If you're in the US and celebrating, stay safe, and go stuff yourselves at dinner tonight. We all deserve it after the last few years.
In closing, I'm posting this today for several reasons, but all of them to do with my gratitude to you all, everywhere, and for everything. Thank you for 1k. Thank you for 7 amazing years. Thank you to all my friends I've made along the way. Thank you to the artists, writers, composers, and modelers who've brought my ideas to life. Thank you to the folks who have commissioned me (I WILL open again, I swear XD). Thank you to my beautiful mate, you're more than I ever dreamed I'd find here. And thank you for reading this far. Best wishes to you!
