Oh I designed the Cyclops Rifle to interface with her neural cortex wirlessly, she can also use the scope (little hud in her face) to see through and shoot without actually putting a finger or eye on the rifle - Manual trigger and lever is there when the baddies fire the EMPs and fry the electronics

I think it's very well encrypted to avoid that, I'd be more concerned with the gun flying off to her face with recoil by holding it like that
