I particularly like how the sheen of the black Friesian fur has been captured in the phal light still shining through the small gaps in the dark forest.

A maze of dark trees that seem to have been digging their roots into the ground for ages...
The rustle of countless leaves in the wind above him... damp moss and leaves under his hooves...
This place was neither suitable for flight, nor for fighting...
So the black stallion had to move on
