"Now I didn't trust this girl at first, I gotta it. A beautiful thing like her, offering to work for a decent wage in a place like this? You'd swear someone was making this shit up. Our outpost is siphoning mana-oil from some deep wells and we're right on the edge of Carthonex territory, we get scouts and raids all the damn time, lost plenty of people to those things and I wasn't about to let some pretty, inexperienced babe throw her life away for some credits. But I was wrong.

She explained she wasn't any ol' chick, she was an "Azuri", hell if I know what that is, but she picked up the front of my van and lifted it straight up in the air - you know, fair enough, it weren't no trick and these old Orion engineering vessels ain't exactly light either, I had a problem with the heat vent on the left side and she fixed it whilst holding the damn thing up! Point made, lady! She went on to explain that her bosses or leaders or whatever were trying to change peoples opinions of her species cuz they been making a lotta hell in some places and it wasn't sittin' right with 'em. So they were goin' out and doing odd jobs, gainin' experience, meetin' the masses, you know how it is. Say no more lady, long as you can hold your own against Carthonex attacks!

Well hold her own she did! I sent her out with a couple of my boys to a broken pumpjack, damn thing was given us strange readins' and the bots were patrolling the area hard, soon as my boys came up on their sensors, the damn things swooped down and started attackin'. This girl though, without missing a beat, shoots two of the fuckin' things down with pin-point accuracy and beats up with the other two with her tools! Smashed 'em to bits! Turns out a Wabbelfedge got stuck in the vent and was messin' with the machinery, must have been scared of the bots. Ever seen one ov' 'em before? Cute little thing, imagine an Earth squirrel but with a gecko head and big' ass feet, super friendly, eat fruit, you can keep 'em as pets! Bless her heart, the girl got that poor critter out and gave it to us, so I named it after her.

Unfortunately, our super star moved on after a couple weeks, she fixed most of the old trucks out back, got every pumpjack goin' all smooth and scared off the bots too, we ain't seem 'em in months since she turned up. Couldn't convince her to stay but I got some nice memories and things are much better here now! Was she worth the price? Hell ye she was. She was worth 1000x more than what I paid her, I tried to give her more but she refused! 'Wasn't about the money' she said! Whatever she got goin' on, I hope she sorts it out. Well, its time to feed Krysten here, say hi to the folks! .... He shy, gotta do his meditatin' and all that. If you see her, say 'Hi' from me! Was a pleasure! Wish i'd been ballsy enough to ask her for a date! Even if she said no, still be a hell of a story to tell!"
