May 16th 2021 is a day I'll never forget, the day I finally photographed the iconic Porsche Carrera GT.
I have always wanted to see, and photograph this Porsche ever since I started taking pictures of cars more rigorously. It's design is drop dead gorgeous, and performance is top notch.
Most Carrera GTs are painted silver. While there are other colors available, they are very rare to come by. In fact the resale value of this car increases if it's painted a color other than silver.
Speaking of which, this vehicle nowadays sells for over $1 million (depending on mileage, vehicle history, overall condition and its paint color). Originally this supercar had a MSRP of over $400,000 when it first arrived at dealerships.
More than 1,200 Carrera GTs were built, though the original plan was to build 1,500. So far this is the only Carrera GT I've seen.

This is the US spec version, with reflective indicator lights in the sides of the front bumper.
