Teresa was on pins and needles all day of the FBA Draft. Even though she'd had a few to drink the night before, spent some time with her good friend Yig, and worked out this morning, there was a sense of complete tension. All the sports blogs had her placed in the top 5 of the draft... and she couldn't believe it. She'd done so well at the Combine, but even then she couldn't believe that she was going to go so high. It meant so much, the money and prestige, the chance to be someone future Mexicans could look up to.. There was a sting when the first pick was announced and it wasn't her name, but then suddenly...

"With the second overall pick of the 2021 FBA Draft, the Loraine Firestorm select Teresa Coyotl from Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico."

And then it all just exploded in her head. Her sister pounced on her, hugging her tightly, and even her uncle who was working the Texas Lone Stars table came up and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Teresa let out a yip and made her way to the stage where she shook the hand of the commissioner before the GM of the Firestorm came and handed her the symbolic jersey with her name and #2 on it. She lifted it high, the brass ring....

But she knew she had a lot of work to do to justify their faith in her.

A FANTASTIC pic by the FBA's favorite artist  pac It's practically a requirement to get a pic by her for top players. ;) It just turned out so well, and that dress! <3 So happy how it's going for Teresa so far, there's a long career ahead of her with plans and stories.... as long as RNGesus helps her out.

And a note- that bandage is kinda gonna be her thing from now on, it just fits her personality as much as her piercings. I originally had it on because the option was there in the base pack and it reminded me of Scorbunny, so there we go. :3
