Ever since I got my tablet I wanted to redo their reference sheets SO badly. The lines looked hideous, the anatomy is shitty, Uranus's old face bothered me,
some color changes (specifically the colors inside their mouths), plus there was some info I wanted to add/change. :) And ugh the old refs just look sloppy as HELL with all the glowy-ness in them. x"D
Like, legit I had trouble sometimes color picking LOL (To be fair, this was when I was still drawing with a mouse).
I was debating whether I wanted Venus and Mars to used to be a 'thing', to frenemies, and I honestly love that lol idk they always gave me these angry couple vibes. XD
I also tried making Mars a BIT more sympathetic?? Idk I mean, yeah he's still a huge asshole but I didn't want him to be 100% unlikable you know? (You now know why he
bullies Earth the most too 👀) Oh yeah and I desperately needed to add that Venus doesn't give a shit that she's the only female planet here. I always get people on diff platforms saying they feel 'sorry' for her...:| Just saying btw, there are more female moon dragons than there are males, so there ARE more female space dragons just saying. I really needed to add more to Jupiter and Saturn, their old ref sheets were kind of pitiful with the amount of info on them compared to the others. XD I got the Uranus and Saturn bickering thing from that 'draw the squad' bs I did lmao I just thought it was more interesting to show how some interact with each other. Added a CRAP TON more to Pluto's ref. I've got some people asking me how he is with the Dwarf planet dragons (And yes I am gonna draw them) and uhhh it's not too great. Pluto will eventually make up with them so no worries. Oh yeah and I felt the need to give Uranus and Neptune a reason why they would have glasses and braces in the anthro AU. XD
So YA! Their new and improved reference sheets. :)
This was honestly SO MUCH FUN to do, like, I really enjoyed writing new details about them so much! ;o; I feel like I got a bit better at writing. :'DOther stuff:
