I tried to push myself with this one, one of my biggest challenges when it comes to doing art solely on the iPad, is the brush and blend engines I'm so used to in SAI.
I'm starting to slowly learn Procreate now, though, and I learnt a lot from this piece!

I sadly don't draw as much as I'd like to these days, but I'm trying to squeeze in some art here and there.. If only I to it 😅

I use a soft rounded brush with low opacity for my shading :D I'm not sure, but I think it was included with procreate, I've moved the brushes I use the most into its own folder, ahah. It's called "Soft Brush" for me!
But yeah, I use the brush both with the smudge tool and eraser/pen if I need to clean anything up! To get a good starting point, I roughly cel shade where I want the shadows to be, and gaussian blur it to a point where I'm happy, and refine it from there

ooo i'll have to give that a try! I was for a while doing cell shading then just going back with the airbrush tools, but it never 'blended' enough for me >3> just gave a kinda fuzzy cell line ahaha
But damn the watermark across entire thing kinda takes me away from the thingy.
But yeah i know why it is that way.
