I'm always impressed by your ability to go back to sketches that are years old. Maybe i'm just seeing this image again and again wand so it's just repeated until i think it's true but it seems like a bit of a theme with some of your recent paintings.

Well, as lucky would have it I'm actually in the process of ing a very similar picture, so perhaps that time you'll get the reverse and end up disappointed that it's not another Stigmata picture!

Correct! I've really been enjoying the ideas I had before that I am now strong-enough to render. The ideas are usually good, but my abilities aren't always caught up.

Ah, yeah there are certainly a couple picture that got away because of that over here as well. And hey, i'm not complaining, absolutely love the way you knocked the cools out of the park here, so it was well worth the wait.

Funny you say that. It's actually weirder to me when human bodies have tails, because the counterweight makes no sense for biped human actions. They're designed for horizontal weight distribution, not vertical. And tails also affect how we view the character in ways that doesn't gel with my work.

But that said, that triangle shape could fit a tail nicely!

Bit biased here but yeah, tail would be awesome ^^

I know that anatomically it's reasonable but it's all about the aesthetics - anthros without a tail is just kinda weird ^^
