This was a sketch I did almost 5 years ago. I found it a couple of days ago and decided to finish it. Nowadays I don't really get comments on how my characters look, but back in the days, I used to get somewhat rude comments on how I draw my Evos, specially females.
I once go a comment on a drawing of Hasky, questioning me why I don't draw "boobs" on my Evo girls. Something in the likes of "how can recognize them as females if they don't have boobs" or something (I don't well). Ultimately the conversation ended on that person asking me "If you like realism, then how can they feed their babies (I rather refer to young Evos as pups) without BEWBZ?" I honestly decided not to continue the conversation...
I'll just let my precious Hasky explain it... Very simple biology...

Yeah, somebody didn't know their biology, even flat-chested human women can feed their infants just fine! A bigger breast does not necessarily equal more milk capacity, though some species do exhibit breast/teat growth when pregnant/feeding young, it is not a definitive rule. Not terribly surprising in this fandom though, given the widespread belief that males with bigger gonads can be more 'productive', shall we say? That's governed by different glands. I could rant more but I'll stop there. XD
Anyhow, love the expression on Hasky* here! Great mix of puzzlement and concern for the intelligence of the one asking!

I think also the question would be "does she hold her cub when she feed them?"
I don't like boobs on animals since they don't have boobs. Or when they put boobs on reptile/lizard or robots to give them a female look. (transformers and before that Mazinger/Great Mazinger)
I like it when its anatomically correct, it respect how the animal would look if they are "evolve" or anthro.
